Life Lessons From Nature.

I went out for a jog this morning at a nearby nature preserve. Below are some lessons Nature showed me.

  • Nature is inherently adaptive. It changes form and shape in response to its environment. It expressive the just-right  version of itself in the present moment.

  • It has many expressions. As a whole, it has a capacity to accommodate each of its expressions. Any of its expressions can be a natural support to another. All can thrive together.

  • It is a precious resource.

  • It doesn't try to be anything else. It just is.

  • It survives and flourishes without unnecessary effort.

  • It abides by its natural cycles. It knows exactly when and how to bloom, to gestate and restore itself.

  • It doesn't second guess itself.

  • It is life-giving.

  • It evokes healing.

  • It provides shelter and nourishment.

  • It inspires awe.

and here's a poem it inspired:

Nature
form and formless
abiding in all ways
sharing its inherent wisdom
for all.

How does nature speak to you?  Feel free to share here.
